neorealism also known as the golden age, stories about poor and working class people and the actors usually aren't professionals. the bike thief is a good example of Neorealism it is about a guy that finally finds a job hanging posters the family sells there sheets to get the guys bike from the pawn shop but his bike later gets stolen.
